Problem
Unique opportunities for learning such as field trips are highly beneficial for young students. Unfortunately, many educators are intimidated or unknowledgeable about how to plan and integrate field trips. High school teachers are extremely limited in time, hence their lack of motivation to learn and conduct these activities. Oftentimes, there is an interest in introducing these experiences, but staff members are unsure of where to find guidance.​
Solution
The project contains training material that guides staff members in a local school district on how to facilitate efficient field trip activities. Adhering to the principles of andragogy, I tailored my design around learner’s intrinsic motivation to emphasize correlation between new knowledge and personal experiences.
